OUR STORY BEHIND THE SCENE
Dankbar was born during a walk along a quiet beach in Mallorca — inspired by our wish to create something meaningful that brings people together.
Our love for candles and the many hours spent perfecting our craft led to our first candle making set, designed to bring the warmth and creativity of candle making into homes everywhere.
Encouraged by the amazing feedback at our very first design market, we knew we were on the right path. Soon people wanted to learn the craft not just online, but in person — and so our workshops began.
We started in 2022 with the wish to create something sustainable and fun for all ages — a way to enjoy quality time with your loved ones at home. We believe small acts of creation spark joy, and our DIY set helps people unplug from the digital world and craft with their own hands and hearts.
Carefully designed with passion, soon “Dankbar” grew in more than just a candle making set — it became a space for inspiring creative workshops, a brand for high-quality candles, and a source for carefully selected candle supplies. It’s about turning creativity into meaningful moments.
At the heart of everything we do stands our motto: „Sei dankbar – say Thank you.“
It reminds us to appreciate the small, beautiful moments in life and to share this gratitude through our creations. Every candle, every workshop, every shared spark of creativity carries a piece of this belief.
